I'm hoping that's one of those tame bears that will eat out of your hand. Otherwise, I don't think I would have stood still long enough to get a picture.

Nope it was a wild one inside the forest preserve. THE ONLY reason I got out to take a picture was because there were about 20 people already within about 30 feet of him who I knew I could outrun. Ha.

I just used that same line Tuesday, except in regards to an alligator. We saw a medium sized gator on the golf course. I got somewhat close to take a picture and he turned his head towards me and opened his mouth. One of the guys warned "Gators can run faster than you.". I replied, "Yeah, but I can run faster than YOU." They laughed but didn't really seem that amused.
