Default Your Favorite Cartoon Characters Reading the Star Wars Screenplay Will Blow Your Mind

From Gizmodo.com:

Quote:
George Lucas tried to improve the original Star Wars trilogy with CG enhancements, but little did he know those beloved films could be even more awesome by re-casting the leads with our favorite cartoon characters. The Powerpuff Girls' Bubbles as Darth Vader? Yes, please.

This momentous reading of the original Star Wars screenplay took place at the Emerald City Comicon in Seattle, and featured some of the most recognizable cartoon characters from voice actors like Billy West, Tara Strong, Maurice LaMarche, John DiMaggio, Kevin Conroy, Jess Harnell and Rob Paulsen. Had Lucas cast Pinky and the Brain in The Phantom Menace, maybe there wouldn't have been so much backlash. [YouTube via Topless Robot]

That's pretty cool. Although, it's funny that Mark Hamill is almost as famous for doing animated character voices as he is for playing Luke Skywalker and he wasn't a part of the show. I guess that would have ruined some of the fun.
