The reason people dislike Jones has nothing to do with Jones as a person. Jones is the new breed of fighter and we are starting to see a transitional period from the heroes of our past to this new breed. It is hard to watch guys you have watched for years get absolutely destroyed by the new kid on the block.
But the thing is, americans love the "Rocky" story, we love the underdog. Most hate dominance in sports ie. Yankees, Red Sox, Lakers, Anderson Silva, etc. Jones is making it look so easy that it is hard to even get hyped to watch him unless you are a true fan of his. He is becoming similar to Tyson, you pay big money to watch a fight that you already know the outcome to. I am not a fan of Jones, but I give him his props. He is a very talented fighter and he brings it every time that he fights. This is what I expect from all champions.

Sounds to me like StupidSidelineReporter is a sensitive butterfly.
News flash for SSR: Jon Jones can take fan criticism. Quote:

I'm for the rich getting richer as well. While I can admire true sports dynasties, I'm usually rooting for the Cubs, er...I mean underdogs. ![]()
