I think Rory MacDonald could be the number one contender right now. However, since he trains with GSP I'd rather see him pick off more of the top contenders before getting his shot. Fighting Nick Diaz would be a great test.

I agree, I would love to see Rory vs Diaz, but we don't really know when Diaz or GSP will be back at this point.
