Thanks Flo, I'm fine here, I live in San Antonio so I'm 4 hours away from all this mess. We just have a slight overcast here so no biggie.

This is crazy though, DFW is the 4th largest metroplex in the U.S. with close to 6.5 million people there and it's just continuing to get worse with hours of this remaining.

I just got a text from Bonnie: they're doing fine. Like RD, they're not in the Dallas area so they're watching it on the news, as well.

Hope so! Haven't heard of injuries or deaths as of yet so that's good. Lots of home damage though.

I'm worried most about what's heading north as most of my friends are in the area getting hit now and within the next 2 hours.

I didn't realize what was going on until a couple hours ago right before Ben texted me. I'd been gone and just turned the tv on and saw the video of the tractor trailers. I called my sister and told her she should check on her husband's extended family who lives up around Dallas. We didn't really have much of a winter and temps are already in the 80's, and springtime and early summer are usually ripe for conditions for tornadoes. April has been one of the deadliest months for tornadoes as we saw last year.

Hope all your family and friends are safe.

Everything is all good for my friends up there

Still haven't really heard of any significant injuries or fatalities, which is pretty amazing.

Same here for my brother-in-law's family who lives in Flower Mound. His sister-in-law said they were okay but the areas around them got hit.

Weather Channel is now showing no fatalities, but many injured. It doesn't state severity of injuries though.

The Mayor of Dallas was talking with Wolf Blitzer and he said they've been checking with the surrounding areas also, and as far as they know, no fatalities. Like the Mayor said, as bad as it was, they were really blessed.

It is incredible when you see those trailers flying thru the air!

Yeah, that was amazing to see that happen!

Here's the biggest hailstone I've ever seen. This was found in Forney, TX, a small town of 14,000 just outside of Mesquite (a suburb on the east side of Dallas). In addition to this hail, they were hit by TWO tornadoes.
