Exactly. It was totally unnecessary for him to bring soccer up in the first place. He could have just said, "I love hockey!"

I will say that the Vuvuzela didn't help Soccer much...

Dana is still crazy though...

He could have just not commented at all, or found a nice way to say he doesn't care. That would actually be "PROFESSIONAL"...

I asked once, and I will ask again, can you imagine the response if he said it takes no talent to play in the NFL? Remember, Soccer is the most popular sport in the world, and he's getting s**t on pretty hard over this, but Americans are so rabid, I think this would be front page news if it weren't soccer.

Talent in the NFL is like like drinking and driving....you see lots of one or the other all the time but vary rarely do you see them together anymore.

Thanks, JB, yeah that *is* annoying. There was an obnoxious Oakland A's fan in the late 90's and early 2000's that used to bring a drum to the games and play it non-stop when we were up.

Not in any kind of awesome drum solo beat, just bang, bang, bang...bang, bang, bang...bang, bang, bang... for 9 innings.
