Anderson Silva suffers another injury

UFC middleweight champion, Anderson Silva, reveals another injury that will further delay his 2012 debut according to tatame.com.

Recently Silva has been recovering from a shoulder injury, returning to training earlier this month. However Silva has been suffering from another injury as well, to his lower back.

"I'm not sure when I'll come back event because I'm still with a shoulder injury, another injury arouse recently on my lower back, so I'm getting treatment," Silva said.

Silva is expected to fight the winner of Chael Sonnen vs. Mark Munoz matchup at UFC on Fox 2 but in light of another injury, there is no telling when Silva can fight again.

The severity of the lower back injury is currently unknown. Hopefully it is not as severe as the back injury faced by Kenny Florian, who might have to retire depending on how his back recovers.

Silva's last bout was against Yushin Okami at UFC 134 and Silva defeated Okami in the second round via TKO.

This, All high end Atheletes bodies let them down eventually. He will beat Chael AGAIN retire in quite dignity and Chael will bleat and moan saying he is retiring because he is scared of fighting a third time when it would be different blah blah blah.

i think him vs. belfort would be a good fight .. i know vitor is fight wandy () but i'd rather see vitor fight someone who still has a career .. i realize dana has to squeeze every last bit out of wandy, but this is ridiculous ...

Lol.. Yeah Belfort and Bisping would be a good fight.. I like the thought of that...After Chael/Munoz Bisping/Maia fight on the 28th this will let us know how that division looks.. Bisping is training his arse off...I can't wait to see him fight..
