Default Obama's Approval Rating - Gallup Update

I think I'll continue to track this every few days and keep the thread updated.

Gallup Approval/Disapproval Ratings: http://www.gallup.com/poll/113980/Ga...-Approval.aspx
Dow Jones Industrial Average (via Yahoo! Finance): http://finance.yahoo.com/q/hp?s=^DJI

Start (1/21/09 - 1/23/09)
Approval: 68%
Disapproval: 21%
Dow Jones Industrial Average (open 1/21/09): 7,949.17
Dow Jones Industrial Average (close 1/23/09): 8,077.56

Current (3/18/09)

Approval: 61%
Disapproval: 28%
Dow Jones Industrial Average (open): 7,395.70
Dow Jones Industrial Average (close): 7,468.58

As the lies continue to pile up, you're going to continue to see this trend.

The irony I see is the Democrats accuse the Republicans for helping the super-rich to get richer, didn't the $787 billion bailout accomplish just that?

You should include the Dow Jones for the day. It would be interesting to see how that market is doing versus his approval rating. IMO

LOL, will do! It's updated. The DOW has dropped about 600 points, or about 8.5% since he started in office. It seems that his approval rating dropped about the same amount and his disapproval rating increased about the same amount.

This'll be an interesting study. Thanks for the idea with the DJIA!
