I always like listening to John MacArthur. My favorite preachers are the ones who teach the Bible without worrying about offending people.

J. Vernon McGee is another really strong Bible teacher. I listen to him every chance I get.

Back to the topic of Santa Claus for a moment. John MacArthur recently did a sermon on the Incarnation of Christ and makes a minor detour to talk about Santa Claus. It's just a small side note and it's near the beginning of this sermon:

MacArthur calls the myth of Santa Claus for what it is: a false theology that is completely incompatible with the message of Christ.

Also, he has kids, so you parents out there can't claim that he doesn't know what he's talking about.

I think when people want to play that card on you, Nate, it's a weak one. You don't have to be a parent in order to have common sense, know right from wrong, or in order to voice your opinion or view on subjects that involve parents and/or children.
