imo, they shoulda stripped randy ... he quit and wanted to fight elsewhere .. bj was stripped the first time he left ... he also didn't defend for a year and a bit when he was getting ready to fight gsp, but that is fine, he is still fighting .. too bad for the others in his division .. sherk was stripped as he was suspended ... so imo, if you can't defend as you are hurt and not out indefinitely, are challenging for a title in another weight class, you are ok .. if you are suspended, re-negotiating your contract or injured with no timetable for return, than you get stripped ...

What about Mir? He was still rehabbing, and couldn't make the fight in Oct, so they stripped his title and gave it to Arlovski... then he had to fight to get back into contention.

According to his facebook post, GSP's surgery went well. Hopefully he won't be out of action as long as predicted.

I knew he was faking it. I heard Canada has a short supply of Vaseline left and this is the real reason behind the "surgery".
