Default All Souls Day 2011

In the Christian Liturgical Year the Final Season (Known as The Kingdom Season) begins and lasts through November

on the 1st we Celebrate the Feast of All Saints...this is a bit like celebrating the Birthday of the Established Church because it celebrates only Cannonized Saints. They have a special Literny during the Eucharist

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S3iu9bwEfl4 (it goes on forever, since they mention almost the entire list of canonized Saints and is dreadfully tedious...I only celebrate this day because it was the day I got Confirmed Eight years ago.

on the 3rd we Celebrate The Feast of All Souls, which is the yearly commemoration of all The Faithful Departed. It features a litany known as "the Requiem" So I have borrowed from different composers an almost entire Requiem for you all to listen to.

On November 11th we have a commemoration for those killed in battle. Following that the Kingdom Season focuses on teaching of the End times, and ends with the Feast of Christ The King.

That marks the end of the Christian Year, which in 2011 will happen on Friday 25th November
