So, did any Japanese people actually complain? Or did they just assume it was offending people? But it makes sense, I guess, why risk the remote possibility of offending one or two overly-sensitive Japs, when you can take it down and guarantee offending thousands of American veterans?
I guess nowadays using a racial slur is worse that carrying out a suprise attack on a military base and killing over 2000 people. Politically correct idiots!

One of the big classes we have to go through at all hospitals is "Culture and Diversity". I think it's required by our inspection entities. As soon as someone isn't perfectly PC, we have a new class.

Anyone else remember that huge arguement I had with someone about this subject.
I can't remember who it was might have been Brian or Moose. They insisted that saying Jap was worse then saying Brit... Didn't really make sense to me... So he continued to blather his PC crap and I just couldn't be bothered. |

That's a bunch of crap. I saw a SNL skit where Chevy Chase was called a "honky" by Richard Pryor, maybe I should complain that they edit the sound or never show the episode again. Big deal.

Maybe it's a sign that people need to MOVE ON. What your doing is no different then someone sitting around feeling sorry for themselves because there ansecters were in concentration camps or slaves.
