Alrighty then, ladies & gents: it's that time of year again, when sure things turn to dust & wanna-bes become Cinderella: it's time for the 2009 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament!

As many of you know, my Virginia Commonwealth University Rams won the Colonial Athletic Association Championship Tournament last weekend, earning the right to go dancing. The powers that be saw fit to label us an 11 seed and we are slated to take on the UCLA Bruins in Philedelphia, PA on Thursday, March 19th for our 1st Rnd game. Since I'm a member of the Ram Band (and since God was gracious enough to give us a Thurs/Sat schedule as opposed to a Fri/Sun one), I will be travelling with the team for the remainder of their post-season career.

Now, while I'm quite certain that the Rams, led by 2 time CAA Player of the Year Eric Maynor, will be bringing home the gold, I'm sure there are some doubters out there. For that reason, I have created a Bracket Pool on ESPN for those forumites that would like to attempt to match wits. Below you will see the link. It's a closed group so you will need the password to be allowed to join.

Wha?! I have VCU going into the second round, what more do you want? taking them beyond that is just plain ridiculous!

O, my bad. When you said "take them out of the first round", I thought you meant have them lose in the first round.

Well since I won on here last year im gonna spare you guys and not play this year. But im gonna hope for the 2peat with the jayhawks but I don't see it happening. But it would make it even sweater if they did take it home this year just for the fact that they have 1 starter back and haven't looked very good in some games and look amazing in others.

Nah I think I will retire with my perfect record. Go out on top. Or I might just throw the bracket this year to make u guys feel better.
