I don't think they necessarily killed the losing dog. They just electrocuted, hanged, and stomped dogs with weaker genes to death.

I just saw on the tv program the other night for the Animal Planet or one of those stations where they were showing some of the dogs that had been rescued from Michael Vick's. I didn't watch it because I didn't know if they were going to show "before" pics of them.
