I saw Hulk Hogan last week. We went to the TNA tour that was in town. I know next to nothing about pro wrestling but my boy loves it. He likes WWE better (as he kept informing everyone, lol) but he enjoyed it. The only person he recognized is Jeff Hardy because he is on a playstation game he has. (This was Hardy's come back show. Didn't wrestle just asked to be given another chance. He hit a few folks with a baseball bat though.)

The show was great though. It was taped for TV. It will air on Spike this Thursday night.

A few things I noticed: Hulk Hogan can barely walk. Surely he isn't going to actually wrestle anyone on this tour. Kurt Angles' knees seemed to be hurting him so bad that he couldn't even stand up straight. Sting fell on his back across a chair that wasn't supposed to be there. He looked pained even with the make up.

AND Eddie Alvarez was there. Have no idea what that was about. He went over for an interview with the commentators. We couldn't hear them. We had an announcer live in the stadium. The announcer was good but he was certainly no Bruce Buffer.

Oh, and I think one of those Beer Money guys was hurt (for real).

I used to like Pro Wrestling back in the day...but not now...I started with WCW, then moved to watching WWF, which became WWE just before I wrote my dissertation...now the only brand on TV is TNA

That's not true. You've still got WWE Raw on Mondays & WWE Smackdown on Tuesdays.

Not in England you dont. There seems to be no Pro Wrestling except TNA on British TV (I suppose there must be on Sky...but I cant afford that )

TnA basically sucks about 100 times worse than WWF does nowadays. YES, I said WWF, because thats what it F***ING is, (deal with it you PETA like over-agressive animal homos. )

Monday Night RAW is still the highest rated cable show on Monday night, and it has been for the better part of 20 years, When the UFC threatens those ratings, then they will have truly "taken over" using a business model they stole from Vince in the first place.
