Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge are also visiting the scenes of the Riots...I feel that whilst the Riots havent really effected the Government who have gone back on their jollies...the Royal Family have been really distressed by it all.

Prince Harry went to Manchester to visit the riot sites of the north

I'm glad they are visiting and am not surprised. Contradictory as it may seem, since WWII at least, members of the Royal Family are often more in touch with the concerns of the average Brit than MoP.
