You look real good though.

Makes me sad and sick how man can justify the atrocities he commits because he thinks he's superior to another human being.

It was a bad situation over there. When the Soviet Union collapsed, Yugoslavia simply resumed a war that had been going on for centuries. The factions were the Croatians, Serbs and Muslims. None of them really innocent in the conflict and all guilty of some pretty horrifying stuff. However, at least Croatia had the good sense to break off into it's own country. Now the Serbs and Muslims are just waiting for UN forces to leave so they can resume their ethnic cleansing (both would exterminate the other if given the chance).

One cool thing was that we got to sit down to Thanksgiving dinner with Russian soldiers while we were there. That would have been inconceivable just three years earlier.

Nope, I joined in 1991 and spent two years in Germany from 1992-94. I got out of the Regular Army in 1994 and was obligated to do 2 years in the National Guard; but I reenlisted to Active Duty in 1995 (the National Guard is just "Army-Lite" so it was more frustrating in many ways) and volunteered for Bosnia in 1996.

Thanks, BTW. Although I don't think I could ever get back down to that weight (165). I'm 241 now (down from 255) and would eventually like to get back down into the 190s (I think my heart would be happy with that).
