So Excited!!

Ok, so most of you know that my dad got in a really bad accident while over in Iraq about 2 months ago. He spent a lot of time rehabing, and now finally, he is coming home tomorrow!!! I am over the moon, I can't wait to see him!

My mom and my brothers and sister don't know he's coming home. It's a secret we've been keeping from them for the last few weeks. I really haven't told anybody until now. Even though my parents have been divorced for 20 years, they are still best friends and my sister and brother from her 2nd husband are just as close with my dad as my brother and I are. They are going to flip. They think we're all just going to lunch for my mom's birthday.

I'll let you guys know how he's really doing when I see him. I know a lot of you have asked about him recently, so after a few days I'll know for sure. He always likes to keep me from the full truth!! But I just wanted to let you guys know he's ok now, and coming home!!

i know, i am actually a little nervous to see him. i really don't know what to expect. i'm a baby, so i know i am going to be bawling as soon as i get in the car tomorrow. ah, the nerves are building!

It'll be great. You'll get the shakes and the sweaty palms tomorrow but then you'll see him and your tummy will flip and you'll hug and you'll both cry....oh geez. Where's the tissue? I'm gonna cry now. Daddy's rock.

Dang Lyns you are making me tear up!

I remember when daddy came back from overseas too Those were times that were more joyous than Christmas, for real. There's nothing better than the feeling of having your daddy back from war zones.

You guys continue to be in my prayers and we all look forward to hearing what the lunch is like tomorrow!
