Llamas

Hey friends,
I took a trip up to Vermont this weekend with my buddies Matt and Ben (not of the forum) and spent a short weekend. Here are a couple pics of the llamas. They just had a baby a few months ago and it is freaking adorable. Very friendly.

The main reason we wwent up was to go to a winery for festival on Saturday. Good food and music. There was a blues band playing outside and they had some Vermont Highland Cattle burgers on the grill (which I happily ate). Good wine.
That night we built a fire and played some music and jsut enjoyed the mountains and the farmland.
Yesterday we went to eat breakfast at a place called Eaton's Sugar Shack. They served up a fantastic breakfast of locally grown foods.

When we got back Ben's dad mentioned he had a bunch of wood cut that he needed stacked in the wood house so we gladly got to hauling and stacking for him. I've always loved working outside and I am the type of guy that you give me a pile of wood and tell me where you want it and you can pretty much just let me be and know that when you get back it's bee taken care of. I opted to load the wheel barrow and since I missed a workout on Friday I asked if they'd let me do all the hauling. Needless to say after runnign the wheelbarrow for a couple hours my forearms are pretty sore today.

My buddy Ben's parents are genuinely great people and I'm grateful they open their home to us troublemakers whenever we can get up there.

I was glad to get home to my wife, but I always have a great time up in Vermont.

Ahhhh, Harley is adorable. The female on the left looks so much bigger. Her neck reminds me of Matt's when he's training.

I can't see them either!

But that sounds like you had a blast on the weekend, I would love to visit Vermont. It's great you could help out your friend's parents.
