Dear Mods,

Can you please create an Obama Bashing folder in General Discussions (you can call it "Civil Political Discussions" if you want) so people can actually browse the Woodshed without finding 50% of all posts being hate filled rants about our President. Thank you for your time and consideration.

You mean that book that Fox News has plugged over 75 times in the past 4 days?

A sophomoric, 50 year old book about a non-existent nation?

A book that I read, a book that has:

Randian man made the center of a godless world, not unlike Marxism
Implicit Totalitarian ("To the gas chambers go!")
Completely contradicts The Fountainhead
Gross opposition to altruism
Demonized sacrifice

Note: I'm not a socialist nor a communist. I love America. (That is coming from someone who has traveled the world and lived in several countries under several governments) The fact that we can have this little discussion says wonders. But if you don't see anything wrong with the above image then you are no longer thinking for yourself and Fox has officially given you a lobotomy... or you are Bernard Madoff. Funny how fast the right got behind a feminist/atheist/fornicator on this one.

There is another book that I think most people on these threads like, some call it the Good Book, some just call it the Bible. See what it says about money, sacrifice, pride, charity, corruption, indifference, greed, etc.

Actually the Mods should be doing the job they wanted and deleting the Obama hate threads or threads with hate crap in it. Its Matts rule and NAtes rule, or maybe its NAtes rule cause Matt would like the rule.

To quote Nate, "You may not like him, or his approach but as our president he deserves our support." Then again I think that only applied to McCame...

Just today I have read some posts from Nate that stated what he didn't like about McCain and some posts about things he didn't like/agree with about Bush. So, he isn't exclusive. lol

I don't watch TV news at all, so I wouldn't know about FOX plugging the book. Bash it all you want, but you obviously haven't read it and you seem to be uninformed about what a profound influence it has been on many famous Americans. Take Alan Greenspan for example.

If you see anything wrong with the image you posted, then you are more of a socialist than you think. Please tell me, what is wrong with being rich?

You really would benefit from watching some of the old Milton Friedman interviews. I don't know if there has been a more brilliant thinker and communicator among the defenders of capitalism.
