Can you sense my sarcasm?
No, can you make it more obvious?

I thought Junior looked sharp and solid throughout the fight...Shane, not so much.

I'd like to see a replay of how many punches Carwin ate from JDS on the cage near the end of Round 1. Carwin only held up his hand to the side of his face, didn't scramble or stand up for I'd guess at least 20 punches. I felt it should have been stopped, but I also thought the same thing about Carwin punching Brock until I saw the replay and saw that Carwin landed very few shots.

I don't know how many punches, but they definitely landed!

What made Herb call a halt when he did and call the doc in? I thought I saw one cut underneath Carwin's eye...was there another one Herb was concerned about that might be impeding Carwin's vision?

I think it's just cuz Carwin's face was a bloody mess. Hard to tell where the blood was coming from or if Carwin was in danger and just being a fighter and sticking it out. He was fine, just cut.

Yeah, I think it was a good decision too, Bon, but after seeing Carwin's face I felt pretty sick.

Plus, these really gory fights give ammo to MMA detractors; it's unfair, some guys just bleed a lot (although that Ott v Roshalt fight last week should have been stopped way earlier, IMO).

It looked like Junior had about an extra 12 inches of reach on Shane that whole fight. As for the end of round 1, its was pretty close to being stopped, I think Shane shifting to a different position at times kept it from being stopped.
