The whole OSU football issue

After hearing that Pryor is not returning to OSU next year, I had to post something. This drives me nuts. I am not sure if I am more disappointed with him or the NCAA for letting this happen. He walks away, with no penalties and leaves his team to deal with everything. He gave his word that he would return and serve his 5 game suspension....apparently that meant nothing.

But he is not all to blame, the NCAA was naive enough to believe him and the others involved and postponed their suspension to next year rather than suspend them for the BCS bowl game which they should have had to sit out of. But then money talks right?

I hope professional football teams take a good look at his character and choose to not draft or sign him, or at least make him prove that he deserves to play professionally. And not skill-wise, playing professional sports should be an honor and not a way out like he is choosing.

This whole thing drives me crazy, even the USC situation. Carroll just upped and bailed on them and went to the NFL. What ever happened to accountability?

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

As a long-time Buckeye fan, this has been a very disappointing off-season for me. First we find out that Pryor's a cheater, then we find out Tressell knew, then the AD makes a joke out of it, then it gets worse & Tressell bails, then Pryor's investigated for his cars so he shows up to the hearing in a brand new car, then he just bails.

Absolutely ridiculous.
