NBC's Fear Factor is returning to television and according to the International Business Times, the producers contend that "the stunt and camera technologies have evolved [and] we’re going to be able to make it even bigger. We’re going to make it more visually arresting." Originally hosted by UFC color commentator Joe Rogan, the network has yet to identify a new host for the network's re-launch.

Love Fear Factor!! I hope Joe does return. Maybe they can get some of the UFC fighters to compete for charity.

If Rogan does get this gig back, that would add some credence to the rumor that the UFC's making a deal with Comcast/Versus/NBC.

I was just listening to the Rogan podcast.. He was given the first option for Fear Factor.. but he says that he isn't sure that he will do it... "lot of things going on, really busy."

Honestly, though, how do you pass that up? Could you imagine a Fear Factor: UFC Edition? Get each of the champs in there & suddenly discover that Anderson Silva actually has paralyzing arachnophobia??
