Oh i know, I looked at the picture of the ferrari and thought wow,
they must have really been going, sad too.

Does anybody remember the episode of tapout where they were racing high end cars on the freeway???

Clearly a habit of theirs.

both cars spun out reportedly, but the porsche stopped in the road and drove off, and the ferrari hit a pole, I'm surprised his passenger is still alive after seeing that car in two separate pieces

That is sad! My prayers are with the families of everyone involved.

They have street racing here (a lot) usually involving teenagers and usually ends tragically also.

It is right, he died. I'm a TapouT fan and I think they did a lot for MMA and the UFC!

I have lots of tapout stuff too so its sad to see him go.

But being that rich and doing stupid stuff doesn't make sense. You know if he wanted to he could probabally bought track time and raced legaly. I know at the kansas speedway they have drag racing where its all legal and they provide helmets and stuff to you.

"Newport Beach officers later spotted the Porsche and stopped its passengers, a male and female, who were seen walking away from the vehicle.

Upon further investigation officers determined that the male, Jeffrey David Kirby, a 51-year-old resident of Costa Mesa, Calif., was the driver of the vehicle.

Kirby was arrested for gross vehicular manslaughter and taken to the Newport Beach Police Department. The female passenger, Lynn Marie Nabozny, a 32-year-old resident of Newport Beach, was arrested for public intoxication and released Wednesday morning."
Why was Kirby arrested? He gets gross vehicular manslaughter for racing someone on the road without hitting/touching the other car or another human being?

I think Since he was involved in the accident he can be charged with it. They may not have touched but they were racing. Im not sure on that though.
