Al Bundy vs. the Iceman

Al Bundy is a Gracie Jiu Jitsu black belt. This blows my mind. Ed O'Neill actually started training Gracie BJJ under Rorion Gracie in 1992, which means between takes during the majority of the run of Married With Children Ed would take his hands from down his pants and sit on that famous couch bought on shoe salesman money and hop into a butterfly stretch so he can improve his guard. Sometimes real life is more amazing than anything anyone could make up. I am so happy to know this information.

Barfly filmed Ed discussing combat sports and retirement with Chuck Liddell and a sports writer from New York in a candid, conversational fashion. This is real intriguing stuff, check it out.

yeah he trained with (still does I believe) the Gracies since his Married With Children days.
