Yeah, just read this on Facebook. Very sad indeed. Will definitely be praying for him and his family.
Good luck to Carwin, I think he will get the KO on JDS. Still an awesome fight!

Was just reading a little bit about this disease. From what happened to him before...as bad as it got/was...and now this recurrence, sounds like he might be one of the unlucky ones who get the worst end of it. It said it can be "acute" or "chronic".
I hope they can figure things out for him and he regains his health.

Health issue's can sideline the toughest thier is! Sounds like Diverticulitis is bad stuff!

it's next to impossible to maintain his weight with this.. if he doesn't have surgery, he'll still be on a very restrictive diet to let his digestive system rest while the infection is treated.
I lost about 25lbs in three weeks...

I heard Brock was pulling out of his fight a couple weeks ago. Diverticulitis is nasty stuff. I had an aunt who died from it.

I was looking forwrd to this fight, but health and family need to come first. Its just may be that Brock will never be the same athlete he once was because of this.
I wish him a speedy and full recovery.

i hope he gets better real soon ... hopefully he gets to fight again also .. maybe in time for brocktober .. but i doubt it ... although he says he's been eating good, something tells me he has a freezer full of game meat that was calling his name ....
