Jones is from Endicott NY, right over the border from where I lived in PA. Several people I knew were well acquainted with him and have nothing but good to say about him.

His talent is certainly undeniable.

I didn't really see much in that article that came off as cocky or full of himself. A teeny-tiny bit of smack talk, but jeez, can you imagine if one of the Diaz brothers or someone like that had accomplished what he has in the time he has done it? It would be unbearable.

I don't think anything he's done or said shows any kind of shadiness. I'm impressed as hell with him and wish him the absolute best in his career and life. I think it's gonna be fun to watch.

I was surprised to learn he has 3 kids; I didn't know that.

I just saw him on Leno night before last with Kirstie Alley. He seems like a really nice guy. He was saying how his mom never allowed him or his brothers to go on sleepovers because she said nighttime is when bad things happen (I guess boys will get into trouble); Kirstie said he could have a sleepover at her house.

Foxy, what makes you think he's shady?

I don't know about that Foxy...

On March 19, 2011, Jones was en route to Great Falls Historic Park in Paterson, New Jersey, where he planned to meditate several hours ahead of his fight against Maurício "Shogun" Rua at UFC 128. He was accompanied by his two coaches Mike Winkeljohn and Greg Jackson, as their driver prepared to drop them off Jones observed an elderly couple screaming for help, the elderly woman informed Winkeljohn that a man had smashed her car window and run off with her GPS. Jones, along with his two coaches, chased after the robber, caught and tripped him, and held him down until the police arrived.

Jones again came to the rescue when a young woman and her child were left stranded in Florida with no place to stay. Jones helped out the young woman, whom he had no prior association with, by putting her and her child up in a hotel until she could manage her situation.

What I found ironic is that Foxy doesn't like Jones because she thinks he is shady and possibly cocky....But she is a Chael nuthugger hahaha, if anyone is shady and cocky, geesh it is Chael to the extreme
