They would need to find him a can and or let him wear his Gi! Without his Gi he loses one of his biggest weapons!

The only problem would be who decides who can compete in that division. Most of the older guys are fighters at heart and I doubt they'd want to fight if they weren't able to fight the top guys.
Plus what if a guy (like Randy) can hang with the top 5 in his division and because of age they throw him into the Golden Age class. He wouldn't have the competition he wanted.

As a fan of the old school, what fights would you like to see? I would disqualify Dan Severn due to the fact that he is still competing and beating twenty year olds (if he showed up I would just give him a belt, maybe let him fight GSP just to see what would happen), but who else did you have in mind?

I always wondered what Minoki Ichihara v.s. Orlando Weit would have looked like, but Iím probably the only one.

Another fight between Royce and Matt does not make sense and WILL end like the other fight, total domination on the part of Matt Hughes. Bad idea.

i think a masters div is a great idea, just not in the ufc. put one in a feeder promotion like strikeforce. Kinda like wrestling, has masters div. just not at the Olympic level.

I'm not sure who I'd like to see personally. I think if there ever was a Masters/Legends fight or division it would have to be geared towards grapplers and submission fighters. Old guys with no gas tank and diminished hand speed probably wouldn't appeal to anybody. I just think it would be a cool option not only for the UFC but even local and amateur shows. A guy like me who's 40 may love the sport but found a passion for it late in life. It would be fun to compete with other guys of similar age and skill set but not so much fun against a 25yr old with 10yrs of experience.
