That always hurts, having the guy you fought get paid more than you for losing, nearly twice as much in Carwin's case

Yeah, but Carwin just shot himself into that pay bracket for his next fight. If he wins again, he might be in the 6-figure income bracket. He could very well be a top-10 depending on the list. Longest fight is 1:41 and he took Gonzaga in 1:09.

That looks about fair I guess. I don't see anybody who is getting robbed.
