A team being a place where the members are all committed to one another (MFS), as opposed to a camp being a place where a bunch of individuals train (Jackson's).

Right, David?

As I understand it.. y ep.. Matt could prolly speak better to that...

But Jackson's .."walk in the door and train".. more you pay.. the better your trainer... where as MFS.. it's the same.. but if you "go out for the team".. then your on the team...

I'm not much of a Evans fan but I think that was a decent interview. He was angry and hurt but seemed pretty respectful of Jones and Jackson IMO.

Yeah. He clearly still loves Jonny, but feels hurt & betrayed by Jackson.

Fans immediately wondered where the new camp would be. The answer is Boca Raton, Florida, at Imperial Athletics. Rashads new camp..

I mean, Pat's immediate reaction was to switch weight-classes in order to make room for Matt's shot (as was Rashad's). Matt was also kind of on the flip side, because Pat brought in Robbie, who was about 18yrs old & KOing everyone he faced. He was tearing through the UFC WW division while Matt was champ, but he refused to fight Matt.

What we have here is a situation in which Jones, in an interview, said he'd fight Rashad rather than lose his job (if it was a choice between unemployment or 25min fighting a teammate, I'd fight, too). Rashad then got upset & took his ball home to play in a sullen corner.

They still don't have to fight each other. Rashad could have said "I'm glad he's willing to fight me, but I don't want that to be an issue. I'm moving to _____weight,"
IMO, that's just not a good comparison with what Rashad is going through. Yes, that was a very generous move by Pat and showed just what great character the guy has.

But I see your point, and County Mike's.
