What Affirmative Action was supposed to do, I fully support.

What it has unfortunately turned into (see Dumb cops thread) I do not.

I understand the theory behind Affirmative Action; but this, combined with the story about the police officer test scores, is the message that the policy is sending.

The problem is with the inherent racisim in many people. Where as I don't belive in racisim.. I have found myself perpetrating what I call "Culturalism"..Meaning I find myself not giving people the same chance that exihibt certain cultural traits..

I'm not against giving every racial make up the SAME consideration. But not special consideration!
