It is written in the state constitution that they can at any moment walk away and return to a soverign nation. I would move there in a heartbeat if they did that.

It is not his job to "conclude" what laws on the books are or are not constitutional.

Bush did the same thing so really it is a lack of balance in powers. Once the states had more power to dictate this stuff now thanks to Abe we are now a true socialist republic

It is VERY frightening. The checks and balance of our country will not work is they all have the same agenda of turning America into a socialized country. Too many people in this checks and balance system do not have any desire for America to show any signs of how and why it was originally founded.

Exactly. We need to remove senator election by popular vote and go back to them being eleted by state gov this way they are more worried about their poeple than the lobbtist.We need to stick to the 10th amendment and impeach any judge that refuses to.

That's what I'm afraid of, BG. We aren't Europe yet the progressives are pushing hard to turn us into Europe Jr. The EU hasn't been looking too good lately, has it? Did you see the policeman in Athens today, set on fire with a molotov cocktail by a worker who is protesting against govt. cutbacks?

I think the reason America has been so successful (uniquely successful) for 300+ years is from our individual rights and protections as well as the restraints put on government that are written in our constitution.
