Believe it or not, I was not a big fan of Hughes at first. He seemed cocky and a bit concieted. However, I have begun to form a great respect for him. He is a Godly man that has confidence and he is a professional. Probably the best pound for pound MMA fighter ever. I look up to him and I am finding that I do have a lot in common with him. I wish him the best in his next fight and many of us over here in the sandbox will be pulling for him.

All the best,

Frank

I come from a long line of vets so it is a big deal to me that Matt enjoys his visits at the hospitals and other vet functions so much. He has been to both the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Center in San Antonio and Walter Reed Hospital in DC in recent months. I did the photography for him so I got to see first hand just how much it affected him.

I am really glad that you found this site. It'll be great to hear your perspective on different things including the PPVs. I hope you continue to post and interact with all us crazy folk.

Be safe,

~Amy

Welcome to the boards.

First time deployed?

I'm on my third since 9/11, but my first to Afghanistan......on the downhill slope now, less than 100 days left in country.

Again, welcome to the boards, kick your feet up, relax, and enjoy your stay.

Later.

Welcome to the board Frank. My name is Kyle I've been deployed 2 times to iraq and the second one I was Medivac out which I was upset about.....Than they threw me in another unit that was getting ready to deploy again while I was still undergoing treatment.....The Brigade Surgeon seen what I was getting treated for, and moved me to another unit (WTU)...you probably know what that is. But I was 3 weeks out to going on my 3rd tour. That made me upset too B/C I feel like I abandon my friends that I had in this unit. Now I'm stuck here in FT. Carson and im not sure what the heck going to happen to me. I am a tanker(19K) in the Army but I may not be able to stay in this MOS anymore. good luck over there and make it back safe.

Kyle
