Regarding any of Matt's fights....I was most stunned when he lost recently to BJ Penn.
Yeah, me too, Bill. My husband and I were literally speechless.

In my personal opinion, Buster Douglas beating Mike Tyson is still the biggest upset in any sport ever.

i wasn't....this didn't surprise me one bit,a loss like that happens every once in a while no matter how good you are, thats why i really dont see it as a loss for Matt or a win for BJ.
to me its more along the lines of being struck by lightning...just in the wrong place at the wrong time, they could fight everyday for the rest of their lives and you would probably never see that out come again.

Boxing does more for me than other sports, so the Tyson loss to Douglas was bigger to me than any of the other great upsets of sports history.

As for Spinks over Ali, lets face it, Ali shouldn't have even been fighting at that point. Spinks only won by a split decision, and then Ali came back and beat him unanimously like 6 months later. Douglas was a 42-1 underdog and he stopped Tyson in unbelievable fashion.

But isn't that exactly what you did to him?

Maybe you should have given him that same courtesy of a pm.
