I agree I thought thats what they should of done,but /shrug its all about the money... I have nothing against Brock,but the guy only has 5 or 6 fights and I'm sure most guys who will participate will have more experience

i agree, but dana has invested in brock and is gonna use him to make every last penny ... so he is gonna try and get new fans from brock on tuf and hope that he beats JDS ... if that fails, he'll set-up a third match with mur so that he can get back on the winning track and then a fight with carwin .. either way, brock ain't goin back to wrasslin until dana uses him well ...

I can't wait. This is going to be the best season ever!!!!

I agree that they should have used some of the less known guys to get some exposure but the only other time they've had HW's is Nog/Mir unless you want to count Randy but that was to set up a fight with Chuck at LHW. I think it will be pretty entertaining with Brock on there. The UFC and Spike are looking to make some money. I'm sure they figure that it will pull in a lot of viewers even if they aren't huge fans of the UFC or MMA for the matter compared to having some fighters that aren't that well known to the average fan.

As for the fight. I think Brock will get the win. I'm sure he has been working on his stand up...mainly defense. Hopefully he watched the Edgar/Maynard fight and learned a few things from Frankie on how to circle away when he gets rocked and not start back peddling straight back and taking even more shots not being able to get himself back together if he does get rocked.

There are always going to be Brock haters and say this is a stupid move on the UFCs part but I think the ratings will be higher than any other season just due to Brock's name. I guess we will all see once it starts.

Getting Lesnar to do TUF was a challenge, as he hates traveling and leaving his Minnesota home. The show requires him to spend from Jan. 24 through the first week of March in Las Vegas filming the show, where a crew of neophyte welterweight fighters will be divided into two teams and battle for a UFC contract.

I also think this is a good opportunity for Lesnar. White is doing the right thing by throwing him in with another hard hitter. He's not gonna bully Junior, so he'd better get used to getting hit and reacting in a different manner. At this stage, I'd say that Junior takes the fight though.

Everyone knows I am not really much of a Brock fan.. but I have warmed to him slightly in how he has handled (publicly at least) his loss.. and his changing attitude...
