If it is even still on Earth, then my guesses would be buried somewhere under the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem or at the bottom of the Mediterranean Sea.

However, it could also be in Heaven right now and Christ could bring it back with Him when He returns; but this is all just rampant speculation.

this has been my belief

i believe it is either destroyed or in heaven , tho like nate said, there is absolutely nothing to substantiate that thought

the prupose of the AotC was for the spirit of God to be in the israelites,
since we now have the Holy Spirit and when Jesus returns, well, we'll have King Jesus, I don't know that the ark has anymore value, so it would stand to reason it would be destroyed

It is for sale on ebay....... I am pretty sure it was carried off by the persians so I seriously doubt it is anywhere near Jeruslaem if it is still in 1 piece.
