Looks like it's just a one night thing for now, but still pretty cool to see them putting free fights on network television. Hopefully it does well and they can make it a regular thing. ION is a nice way for the UFC to ease in under the radar while testing the waters and maintaining all the production control that larger networks like FOX, NBC, ABC, or CBS would want more control over. |

It's a network channel that has been around for long time. It was originally PAX. It's a relatively low rated network station, but it's still free television, and it's available in over 100 million homes.
I never watch it, but I will on Saturday. Here in AZ it's network channel 51, most of you probably get it and don't even know it. |

Since hardly anyone has heard of Ion, I wonder what kind of shows they normally broadcast. Have to check that out. I'm guessing old re-runs or something.
