One of the highlights of my trip to UFC 123 was a 15 minute or so conversation that Ben (VCURamFan) and I had with Joe Silva. We asked him specifically about this fight and I can almost guarantee you it will never happen.

I don't care to see him fight Hallman again. I think any fights should be against big names.

Exactly. I point blanked asked Joe if that was a direction he wanted to go since so many people online kept discussing it & he said in no uncertain terms that's not something that Matt or the UFC has ever been interested in.
