It sounds like that article was written by someone who doesn't know pro wrestling is fake. Is it supposed to be more "let's keep pretending it's real" for the ignorant fans?

They know it is just the way they do things.

BTW when you tour 345 days in a year and take that many bumps you can earn the right to call it fake till than you do not know squat. Sure it is not competitive but it is by no means fake sir.

Getting thrown to the ground wears you down ~ bumps aren't fun, BUT I'd still say that it is fake. I don't think that anybody could do it though.

Yeah...but he shouldnt be using MMA in that respect. THAT is precisely the type of publicity we DO NOT WANT...sadly it hits the nail on the head...the whole Brock Lesnar Reign may just as well have been a work...he came, they fastracked him, he won and defended...Great...now look at the mockery that the WWE could use to damage a fledgling sport which is trying to go mainstream

That is the Stigma.

Yeah....and so are all the movies you've ever watched in your life.

Its called Acting. Choreography doesnt mean fake, it means managed to perfection.

Its a mix of gymnastics, dance, acting, and sport, for the purposes of entertainment.

Its not more fake then a newscaster reading a pre written script, or a movie actor getting the chop...and yet for some reason, they never get the spiteful write off that people, who should know better, always give to Professional Wrestling

And of course thanks to the greatest that is America you have the right to that opinion. Today's generation is much more "fake" than in my day. We worked a lot more stiff and would often end up in a shoot match before long and almost kill each other. People who typically call it fake have never done it or has tried but never made it past any real training. Dan Severn and Ken have said many times MMA is easier in the long run on their bodies than wrestling.

True Dave but a lot of the times some people leave the script and issue what we call a recipt and clock the people for real. And most of the old school stuff only the ending was "choreograped" the rest was alwyas on the fly. WWE today it is all scripted even the promos
