I'm afraid there is more bad news about Canon Warner.

After returning to the United Kingdom from his holiday in Italy which was prolongued when he suffered a heart attack which ended him in hospital for a week...he went to London to conduct a baptism and collapsed during the officiation.

Evidently he is seriously unwell...i've got all my contacts in both provinces trying to get the latest...but even the Bishop of Edmonton didnt know anything further

Keep praying for him please. Martin Warner and I have a long and storied...and quite unpleasent history which has seen us go to war against each other many times, its hurt both of us, though we are on speaking terms again now....although I dont like the man much...I feel we must still pray for him, he was recently consecrated as a Sufferengen Bishop. I dont wish any harm to come to him

I've read a couple of times about this 'unpleasant history'. It must have been something if you've needed to mention it.

It was the second worst thing to ever befall me, and not unlike an aftershock, or extention to my annus Horribilis the year before (including the worst thing to ever befall me)

My Annus Mirabilis was in 1998...

In short. He prosecuted me at a civil level for Gross Misconduct due to dishonesty.

That the Priest that was charged with my pastoral care, listened to liars rather then myself, and tried to get me sacked from the church for being dishonnest

Its effected me in two ways. One it prevented me for months searching for another job so I could stay in London rather then being forced to Harrogate when my tennure expired. Secondly it obliterated my nieve views about the Church and about priests, it was the first in a number of prosecutions which nearly pushed me over the edge completely.

I havent taken communion from a Minister since.

I dont want to say any more about it, because I did forgive him, and we have both moved on since, and I am truely sorry that he is so dreadfully unwell, and really would like people to pray that he can be healed from whatever is threatening his life with heart attacks and the likes

It's really good that you've forgiven him. Communion is between you and Christ, isn't it?
