Matt vs. Hallman

Awhile back I had suggested this revenge match up and people were screaming how Dennis Hallman sucks and will never be back in the UFC. Well, today is back in the UFC with a recent victory over Killa B Ben Saunders. He is also facing Karo in his return bout.

If he defeats Karo, I am almost certain Dana will want to put him against Matt. I would love to see it myself if Matt isn't planning another run at the title.

Dennis beat Matt TWICE, and in 37 seconds total. I would love to see an evolved Matt Hughes avenge those losses.

I agree that if he beats Karo then Dana will want to make that match-up & if DW asks him, Matt won't say "No,", but I don't wanna see that. I don't think it's that big of a dea. I mean Hallman beat Matt back at UFC 29, then lost to Jens & hasn't been relevant since. Beating so-so TUFer & possibly a returning addict with weight-issues doesn't, IMO, warrant a rematch with the most dominant champ in UFC history. Also, Matt's side it clear that he wants to be back in the title hunt & I don't see how beating Superman would further that goal.

I want to see it happen. It's something that I've already thought about. I see the UFC wanting to do it, too.

I'd rather see Matt fight a top 5 next.


Personally I want to see another title run.

When did Matt say he wants to be back in the title hunt?

I'd love to see Matt retire with the belt and title, but if it doesn't happen, I'll be happy with him enjoying himself as he beats everyone put in front of him. Of course, if he does that, then he probably will get another shot at the title. I'd love for him to beat Hallman, but I'd love for him to beat and dethrone Georges even more. That would be the cherry on top for me.

UNLESS

Matt is serious about making a title run. It would be a great and memorable victory for him.

Dana will make it happen, believe me its already in his head.
