Default Mark and hazey22 pouring a driveway for the Eisentraut family.

I took these photos Saturday, but got so busy with some other stuff that I forgot I was supposed to post them here. Mark and his nephew, Corey (hazey22), were pouring a driveway for the Eisentrauts on Saturday morning. In case you don't remember, the Eisentrauts own the Orpheum Theater in Hillsboro and they've been close friends of the Hughes' for a few years now (Matt also pulled their float in the Old Settlers parade).

Anyways, here's some photos from Saturday (Corey is in the white sleeveless shirt, the guy in the camo shirt and blue cap is Shorty):

Their house is near one of the main intersections in Hillsboro, and just as Mark and the guys were finishing up, a truck carrying a load of lumber lost some logs in the road, so Mark helped them pick those up:

As I came to "...lost some logs", my mind automatically jumped to "and landed in Mark's freshly poured and smoothed driveway!". But, thank goodness it didn't. That Mark is a very helpful sort, ain't he.

I don't think Mark would have been smiling in the last photo if that had been the case.

In my mind, before I saw the pics, I thought when Nate said "logs", he meant the telephone-sized variety. Needless to say, I didn't bat an eye at the thought of Mark scooping 'em up!!

Nice work, Mark. How long does a job like that take?

I think the actual pour took less than 2 hours; but that's not including the set up time, removing the forms after the concrete dries, and stuff like that.

Yeah <nods head fast>

Except I don't think that concrete is deep enough for Mark to hide the bodies.
