I see. True ok I see where your upset.. I know a certain someone that had a WAY better submission ...

I believe Mr. Hughes is very deserving of every cent he earns. But the most important thing is that I think we can all agree that he himself is very greatful for what he has,..and even if he earned less or was less recognized he would still be greatful.

I also agree with the dual submission of the night, as well as the FOTN desisions. Andersons submission was very well executed in a moment where many others would have felt victory was out of reach.

Exactly. That submission was huge part of what made that FotN, but not worthy of an award on its own merit.

I'm of the Capitalist breed and not the socialist breed. Matt earned it and if got paid $20 million a year then good for him.

Good for Matt and entirely well deserved.

I think both Anderson and Matt deserved Sub of the night - they were both very different and both worthy of merit.

Matt rocked his man and was in a hugely dominant posistion - he then unlike many others used a submission to perfectly execute and win a fight. It was superb.

Anderson pulled a Submission at the dying breaths of the fight that he was losing by a country mile. It was almost similar to Leben - he pulled of the fight and was brought it back from the brink.

And you can't deny AS and Chael deserved FOTN - AS deserves it for taking that beating for 24 minutes. Boy did he earn that.

I believe Hughes was paid for fight, for win, and for submission of the night.

I dont care who earned the most, I think the pay for both was alright,...but really money cant buy Anderson Silva getting his arse kicked for twenty five mins, and Matt Hughes winning in the first round by submission...those two factors are priceless
