Default Matt the top money maker @ UFC 117 After Bonus

Says Matt raked in $200,000 for his win. That amount was tied with Anderson Silva. But after the bonus, it puts our hero over the top. These numbers of course dont include money from sponsors, ppv cut or any other contractual incentives.

Wow, I just realized that assuming Matt win his next 2 bouts, he would have raked in over a million just since beating Matt Serra. I gotta learn how to fight, quick! lol

Not to bum out the thread, but Anderson was the top earner. Matt got $200k for show & win, plus $60k for SotN. Anderson got $200k show (no win bonus) & $60k each for FotN & SotN.

Pisses me off that Dana gave Anderson both of those.

Why you pissed about that? Whether you like Anderson or not the fans wanted to see this fight so in that sense his name earned the money.

dana didn't give anderson fight of the night, he gave chael fight of the night, anderson got a collateral 60k thanks to sonnen kicking his hiney for 4.5 rounds

FotN goes to both participants in the fight, winner & loser. Anderson got $120k in bonuses.
