I loved it when Fitch said he was just glad that Alves was healthy........

He was 171.5 so yeah, they let them have the 1 pound.

He's not really tall enough to think that way...

I am disappointed in Alves too, but the idea that he suddenly needs to be a MW is a bit premature.

This actually could spawn a whole new debate in how weight classes work, but I'm not interested in going there right now.

The bottom line is that Thiago CAN make the contracted weight of 170 and this is the second time he has failed to do so. For that, he will always get criticized and rightfully so.
