Lytle's mounted triangle was a better submission. Brock's was pretty basic. Sucks the lower paid fighter got screwed out of his bonus.

Who decides who gets FOTN, SOTN, etc...Dana White?....who?

Lytle should have gotten SOTN and that bonus. It does suck, Mike, and he did get screwed out of his bonus.

And, why did Kendall Grove get $50,000 and Carwin only got $40,000? How does this salary business work--champion, length of time in the UFC, # of wins...what?

It's really just a matter of how good your manager is & how much leverage you've given him to work with when it's negotiation time. I'm guessing that Shane signed a contract when he joined the UFC that's still in effect now, so he's still being paid "beginner" rates, if you will. On the flip side, Grove's a TUF winner that they need to keep around so they can legitamize the show.

I think Lebens would have won "Sub of the nite", Seems to me like Sexy was going to steal it with a possible split decision.

I disagree. I think FotN was perfect for them. While the Triangle was nice, Lytle's reverse triangle-straight armlock combo was much more technicaly & impressive, IMO.
