Default UFC 117 ads . No mention of Hughes

Anyone else notice that . you would think they would want to push that fight but they are not saying a word about it . and if you go to the website they have them listed as the fourth fight down . Under clay guida and dos anjos .
Both times they advertised it last night during the fights , niether of the ads mentioned it . You mention Hughes on a fight card and it draws folks in , dont know why they wouldnt have said anything .

I noticed that too. You would think that they would at least want to mention Matt's fight considering he just got inducted into the Hall of Fame.

I thought it was odd considering how awesome Matts last fight was. More interesting then a roider and a guy who just ground hugs someone..

Just a thought. Maybe they are going to scratch the fight all together and let Matt fight Jake Shields and become a headliner.

I thought it was weird how they played the Brock ad since the fights were on.

I really dislike the way they treat Matt Hughes sometimes...I'm still fuming about them downgrading him in the Gracie Match (I mean the original Gracie...not the most recent one )

Maybe they learned better than to hype the Gracie-killer theme of Matt Hughes.

We all know how well that marketing turned out last time...rather one sided methinks.

Yep, even the bf noticed it and asked if I was really sure Matt was on that card. Like I'd be wrong about something like that. I almost had to drop him.
