I gotta give mad props to Floyd and Manny for making so much cheddar last year. That's what stars of a mainstream sport deserve to be making for their contributions.

Also, this is not a slight toward Manny at all, but even bigger props to FMJ for managing to be ranked number 2 and getting wedged in between Tiger Woods and "His Airness" Michael Jordan. That is truly awesome.

Did not know celbrity golf race horese betting was considered athletic. I guess MJ had a great lawyer who made some wise contract negotionations

Golf is most certainly athletic.

Jordan was the one who basically paved the way for athletes to be as big of promotional tools as they are today. If you notice, the one constant on that list is that every one of them is considered among the elite in their sport just like Jordan was in his day. Jordan is the man, it's crazy that he still makes that kind of money every year.

Personally I think Beckham has been a huge bust. He seems to be hurt a lot and really I don't think hes pushed Futbol in the USA like many hoped he would.

Shocked by Tigers after all the crazy stuff that went on with him that hes still #1.

A-Rod's baseball salary is 27.5 million dollars a year (the biggest contract in all of sports). He used to be in a lot more stuff than I see as of late in terms of other marketing endeavors, that is for sure. Regardless, A-Rod making the list has nothing to do with what happened to his image, check out the guy who is at number 1, LOL

It's also crazy that Jordan still consistently makes the list even though he is the only one who is not competing anymore.

Well in 08 he did blow out his knee and then broke his leg in 2 places rehabbing and half way through 09 he went down hill from what I remember.. In 10 re all know that story..

So yeah, while maybe it wasnt EA's fault it was pretty comical to throw them into the mix lol...
