I like Dana White but where Fedor is concerned he's a prick.

Dana is great at promoting the UFC. He rocks...

Fedor just lost a Mil probably in negotiations...

I wonder why Fedor wasn't being promoted as the WAMMA champ...

I'm sure Dana was happy, considering he spent last week getting Fedor's tapout sponsorship pulled out from underneath him.

Can't wait for EA MMA to hit the stores with Fedor and Randy on the cover...

Then Dana can tweet this : (

Oh, and I will just leave this here....

My biggest hope for all this is that the loss weakens M1's position enough that they can't force the co-promotion hand anymore & we'll finally get Fedor in the UFC to see how far up the ladder he can climb.

Doubtful. Fedor doesn't strike me as the guy who seems to care, or somebody who would come crawling to the UFC after one loss.

I seriously don't even think it's the idea of co-promotion as much as it is the revenue split. The UFC is absolutely right to say no to a 50/50 idea in many respects because they have indeed built a brand name that sells itself, but Fedor was never wrong for playing his hand as the larger than life, unbeatable HW wrecking machine. He knows that a fight with him and Lesnar would do HUGE numbers, (even now at this point with a loss to Werdum), and he wants his chunk of the change. From his perspective it makes perfect sense, although the idea of the UFC or Dana White budging even one inch at this point is less than zero. Fedor lost, and that hurts his stock, even it is only ONE loss.

Regardless, they still have one more fight to co-promote with Strikeforce, and it may very well be a rematch with Werdum. The landscape of things will definitely see some change before the end of the year.

The fact that he lost to a guy who was cut by the UFC makes his stock drop even further.
