Simple? Tech problem I'm hoping you can help with.

Here’s the issue. Recently, my computer has been lagging. It ONLY lags when I am typing in something on the internet. Not on the search bar, but if I am on any forum and am typing a response. It will skip letters that I have typed, etc. Or if I am typing in my username and password on a forum or email server etc. It does not do it on word, it does not do it when I’m chatting on AIM, etc. Only when I am on a forum typing up a response. Is this some kind of java issue or…? Hope someone can help. I didn’t know what to type into google to do a search for it. I had to type this message in word so I didn’t have to stop every four sentences to fill in the letters it left out.

Sounds to me like something is running in the background that shouldn't be. So I agree with JB.

So use the big 3 to check for probs, then CC clean it and then see what it does.
